HOW WE WORK

From requirements to drawing issue.

We take façade solutions through each stage: organising requirements, developing details, coordinating interfaces, checking information and controlling issue status.

01

Requirements

We organise the incoming information, interfaces, constraints and current design direction.

Output: Structured requirements and interfaces

02

Technical development

We develop the solution within the agreed requirements and technical standards.

Output: Developed technical solution

03

Coordination

We control architectural, structural, system and construction interfaces.

Output: Open-item list and RFIs

04

Design information

We translate coordinated decisions into clear information for the next stage.

Output: Coordinated design information

05

Quality control

Work is checked through self-checking and independent senior review.

Output: Checked information ready for issue

06

Document control

We control revisions, status and which information is ready for further use.

Output: Drawing, revision and status register

07

Issue and handover

Controlled information is introduced into the wider Alliance Facades project-delivery process.

Output: Controlled issue to the next stage

TECHNOLOGY / 02

Technology as part of the design toolkit

We develop tools where they strengthen control of design information, make better use of data and reduce repetitive work. Technical decisions and final QA remain the responsibility of the team.

01

Dynamic blocks and CAD automation

In AutoCAD we develop dynamic blocks, parameterised elements and LISP-based tools to reduce manual recreation of repetitive geometry and information.

02

Data extraction

Structured data held within design information supports schedules, checks and faster identification of project relationships.

03

AI-assisted workflows

AI supports selected tasks in analysis, information organisation and preliminary checks. Technical decisions and final QA remain the responsibility of the team.
